Review: Jacks Dinner – High Street, Swansea

 by Melissa Compton.

Last week, we popped into Jacks Diner for some breakfast, We haven’t been there since lockdown happened and were pleasantly surprised.  Jacks Diner had taken all the usual precautions, that you would expect in current times and, the table server was friendly, fast, and efficient. We order the full English breakfast which includes tea. Priced at £6.95, the tea came first, and the food followed not far behind. The breakfast is large enough to set you up for the whole day. The image shows the black pudding removed but the breakfast consists of 2 sausages, 2 bacon, egg, hash brown, mushroom, tomato, beans and a choice of fried bread or toast. All cooked to perfection, the high spot of this dish is the sausages, and it all goes down nicely with the accompanying cup of tea.
